၁။ ရည္ရြယ္ခ်က္
Sitagu International Buddhist Academy သည္ ဗုဒၶတရားေတာ္ကို ေထရ၀ါဒနည္းက်က်ျဖန္႔ခ်ီရန္္ ရည္ရြယ္သည့္အားေလ်ာ္စြာ M.A. Program ကိုလည္း ထိုရည္ရြယ္ခ်က္အတိုင္း ေရးဆြဲ အေကာင္အထည္ေဖာ္သည္။

၂။ ၀င္ခြင့္ရရန္အနည္းဆံုးလိုအပ္ေသာ ပညာအရည္အခ်င္း၊
(က) S.I.B.A. မွ B.A. ဘြဲ႕ရရွိျခင္း။

(ခ) ျပည္တြင္းျပည္ပရွိ တကၠသိုလ္ႀကီးတစ္ခုခုမွ B.A.ဘြဲ႕ကို Philosophical, Historical, Psychological, Cultural, Social, Archaeological ႏွင္ Linguistic အစရွိေသာ အဓိကဘာသာရပ္မ်ားျဖင့္ အမွတ္ (၅၅%) ထက္မနည္း ရရွိေအာင္ျမင္ၿပီး ဗုဒၶက်မ္းစာ (၀ိနည္း၊ သုတၱန္၊ အဘိဓမၼာ)ႏွင့္ သက္ဆိုင္ေသာ English-ဘာသာျဖင့္ေရးသားေသာ စာမ်က္ႏွာ (၂၅)ထက္ မနည္းေသာ က်မ္းစာတစ္ခုကို ေရးသား၍ တကၠသိုလ္သို႔တင္ျပၿပီးေရးသားေသာ က်မ္းစာႏွင့္ပတ္သက္၍ လူေတြ႔စစ္ေဆးျခင္းကို ခံယူကာ M.A. သင္တန္းသို႔တက္ေရာက္ရန္ အရည္အခ်င္း ျပည့္မီသူသည္ သတ္မွတ္ေရြးခ်ယ္ခံရျခင္း။

(ဂ) ျပည္တြင္းျပည္ပရွိ တကၠသိုလ္ႀကီးတစ္ခုခုမွ အထက္ေဖာ္ျပပါ အဓိကဘာသာရပ္မ်ားမွ အျခား (ဗုဒၶဘာသာႏွင့္ တိုက္႐ိုက္ေသာ္လည္းေကာင္း၊ သြယ္၀ိုက္၍ေသာ္လည္းေကာင္း ပတ္သက္ျခင္းမရွိေသာ ဘာသာရပ္မ်ားျဖင့္) B.A. ဘြဲ႕ (သို႔) B.Sc. ဘြဲ႕ကိုရရွိ ၿပီး S.I.B.A. မွ က်င္းပေသာ ဗုဒၶက်မ္းစာ (၀ိနည္း၊ သုတၱန္၊ အဘိဓမၼာ)ဆိုင္ရာ ၀င္ခြင့္စာေမးပြဲကို ေျဖဆိုေအာင္ျမင္ၿပီး လူေတြ႕စစ္ေဆးျခင္းကို ခံယူကာ M.A. သင္တန္းသို႔ တက္ေရာက္ရန္ အရည္ အခ်င္းျပည့္မီသည္ဟု သတ္မွတ္ေရြးခ်ယ္ခံရျခင္း။

၃။ ၀င္ခြင့္ရယူျခင္း
အထက္ပါပညာအရည္အခ်င္းႏွင့္ျပည့္စံုေသာ ေက်ာင္းသား/ေက်ာင္းသူတို႔သည္ Registration ႐ံုးသို႔ ကိုယ္တိုင္ သြားေရာက္၍ ေအာက္ပါအခ်က္အလက္မ်ားကို ကိုယ္ႏွင့္တပါတည္း ယူေဆာင္လွ်က္ ပံုစံျဖည့္သြင္းၾကရမည္။
(က) B.A., B.Sc. ဘြဲ႔လက္မွတ္မူရင္းႏွင့္ အမွတ္စာရင္း၊
(ခ) သုေတသန (သို႔) သင္ၾကားပို႔ခ်မႈ အေတြ႕အၾကံဳရွိခဲ့လွ်င္ ၄င္းေထာက္ခံစာ၊
(ဂ) Passport Size-ဓာတ္ပံု (၄)ပံု၊
(ဃ) သာသနာ၀င္ (သို႔) သာသနာ့ႏြယ္၀င္ (သို႔) ႏိုင္ငံသားမွတ္ပံုတင္ (သို႔) Valid Passport and Visa မူရင္း၊

၄။ ပညာသင္ႏွစ္ႏွင့္ ျပဌာန္းဘာသာရပ္မ်ား၊
M.A. သင္တန္းကာလကို ၂-ႏွစ္သတ္မွတ္ထားသည္။ တစ္ႏွစ္လွ်င္ စာသင္ခ်ိန္(၉)လ သတ္မွတ္ထားသည္။ ဤ S.I.B.A. ၌ Supplementary or Re-exam လံုး၀မရွိပါ။ M.A. တန္းအတြက္ ျပဌာန္းထားေသာ Subjects တို႔ကို Courses of Study စာအုပ္၌ လြယ္လင့္တကူ ရွာေဖြဖတ္႐ႈ ႏိုင္ပါသည္။

၅။ M.A. ဘြဲ႕ရရွိျခင္း၊
M.A. Part-I ႏွင့္ Part-II စာေမးပြဲ တစ္ႏွစ္လွ်င္ တစ္ႀကိမ္ က်င္းပျပဳလုပ္မည္ျဖစ္ၿပီး M.A. ဘြဲ႕ကို ေအာက္ပါအရည္အခ်င္းႏွင့္ ျပည့္စံုသူ ေက်ာင္းသား/ေက်ာင္းသူမ်ားအား အပ္ႏွင္းမည္ျဖစ္သည္။
(က) Part-I ႏွင့္ Part-II ႏွစ္ခုစလံုး၌ ေက်ာင္းတက္ခ်ိန္ ၇၅% အနည္းဆံုးရွိရမည္။
(ခ) Part-I ႏွင့္ Part-II စာေမးပြဲမ်ား၌ ရမွတ္အနည္းဆံုး ၄၅% စီရွိိရမည္။
(ဂ) M.A. သင္တန္းမွ ဘာသာရပ္မ်ားအတြက္ Seminar (သို႔) Presentation (သို႔) Internal Exam တႏွစ္လွ်င္သံုးႀကိမ္၊ တစ္ႀကိမ္လွ်င္ စုစုေပါင္း အမွတ္(၂၀)စီေပး၍ က်င္းပၿပီး ထုိမွရေသာ ပ်မ္းမွ်အမွတ္ႏွင့္ အတန္းတင္စာေမးပြဲကို စုစုေပါင္း အမွတ္(၈၀)ေပး၍ က်င္းပၿပီး ထုိမွရေသာရမွတ္ကို ေပါင္းယူကာ စုစုေပါင္းရမွတ္ အနည္းဆံုး ၄၅% ကို ေအာင္မွတ္အျဖစ္ သတ္မွတ္သည္။

၆။ ဘြဲ႔အပ္ႏွင္းျခင္း၊
အမွတ္(၅)တြင္ ပါ၀င္ေသာ အရည္အခ်င္းမ်ားႏွင့္ျပည့္စံုေသာ ေက်ာင္းသား/ေက်ာင္းသူမ်ားကို M.A. ယာယီေအာင္လက္မွတ္ႏွင့္ အမွတ္စာရင္း ထုတ္ေပးထားၿပီး တကၠသိုလ္ကက်င္းပေသာ ဘြဲ႕ႏွင္း သဘင္၌ ဘြဲ႕လက္မွတ္မ်ားကို အပ္ႏွင္းမည္ျဖစ္သည္။ ဘြဲ႕လက္မွတ္ကို လူကိုယ္တိုင္ေသာ္လည္းေကာင္း၊ စာတုိက္မွ တဆင့္ေသာ္လည္းေကာင္း ထုတ္ယူႏိုင္ပါသည္။

The SIBA Master of Arts Degree programme runs a combined course of teaching and research. The course is two years programme, after which the candidate is required to submit a thesis within one year. The programme offers nine major subjects. The area chosen by a candidate must be related with Theravada Buddhism.

1.Vinaya
An Analytical Study of the Theravada Vinaya Pitaka in the light of modern legal philosophy (pali Commentary Sub-commentary)
This course generally introduces students to the Vinaya canonical and its commentarial texts, focusing particularly on the Parajika, Pacittiya, Mahavagga, Parivara Pali and Commentaries.
This course also looks at some developments of Theravara Vinaya Literature by studying three important extra canonical texts i.e. The Khuddha Sikkha, the Mula Sikkha and the Vinaya Vinicchaya.

2. Suttanta - An analytical study of the Suttanta Pitaka
This course analytically studies the prescribed suttas selected from the entire Suttanta Pitaka with a critical approach.

3. Abhidhamma - An analytical study of the Abhidhamma Pitaka,
This course provides the students with a deeper understanding of Abhidhamma Pitaka, It includes the study of Dhammasangani, Vibhanga, Puggala- pannatti, Kathavatthu Pali and their commentaries.

4. Visuddhimagga - An analytical study of Visuddhimagga,
This course is to study and to practice the Samatha and Vipassana meditation, It covers three sections; Silanidesa, Samadhiniddesa and Pannaniddesa. This course is also to be studied the selective part of Patisambhidamagga and its commentary.

5. Pili Grammar - This course covers Kiccayanasara and Rupasiddhi.

6. History of Buddhism (East and West)
This course deals with the emergence and expression of Buddhism in India and various countries and the emergence of various schools and their different interpretations.

7. Myanmar Art, Culture and Civilization
This course concerns with a systematic understanding and practice of the Value system and the normative foundation of the Buddhist arts, culture and civilization and their manifestations among the people.

8. Buddhist inscriptions
This course aimed to study and understand the inscriptions that are related to Buddhism, The inscriptions such as,
(a) Kalyani inscription
(b) Pagan inscription
(c) Asokan Edicts
(d) Inscriptions in Sri Lanka and
(e) Inscriptions in Thailand are to be studied and understood.

9. Buddhist Philosophy and Psychology
In this courses, students are expected to have a good understanding of the fundamental Philosophy of Buddhism and their application, such as the Four Noble Truths, non-soul theory, criterion of good and bad and causality; philosophy related to liberation and the differences among the major present Buddhist schools on liberation and ways to attain it.

10. Research Methodology (Minor Subject)
This course helps students to understand the procedure and method in carrying out research for writhing a thesis or dissertation.
The course includes: the meaning of research, research and day to day life, (way of progress) study of research methods, research methodology and its stages, detailed study of some significant stages finding the problems, collecting data, forming hypothesis, deducing generalization and theories.

Ph.D Degree on Buddhism (သုေတသန) တန္းတုိ႔၏ Program မ်ားကို ေဖာ္ျပသြားပါမည္။
